Wildlife Safari Adventure
You will meet and greet your Golden Rwanda Safaris driver-guide on your arrival at Kigali International Airport. They will brief you on your safari before transferring you to your hotel for your overnight stay at lodge or camp.
You can also drive directly to Nyungwe.
Wildlife Safari Adventure
Day 1: Kigali to Nyungwe National Park
You'll be picked up in Kigali and drive to Nyungwe National Park. On the way, you'll visit Nyanza King Palace and ethnographic museums at 3 p.m. You'll do a Canopy walk afterward, and check in at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel to relax. You will have an overnight stay at the hotel to prepare for the morning activity.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking-Nyungwe National Park
After breakfast, you will enter the Nyungwe forest to track the Nyungwe chimpanzees. A walk into the woods with our knowledgeable guides versed in botany, ornithology, and interspecies relationships will be a whole new learning experience for you.
You will return to the hotel for lunch and relax during your overnight at the lodge
Day 3: Kibuye Exploration
Today, you will transfer to Gisenyi by speed boat or vehicle (the choice is yours if you can afford a ship).
Along the way, you will explore the beautiful views of the different islands along Lake Kivu and some Congolese hills.
Your overnight stay will be at the Kivu Serena Hotel. Your accommodation will be in Lake Kivu Serena Hotel
Day 4: Gisenyi - Musanze
After breakfast, you will spend part of the day relaxing and swimming at Kivu Serena Beach and other activities). Afterward, you will drive to Musanze, the base town, to visit mountain gorillas.
You'll enjoy seeing a cultural village (Gorilla Guardians Village). Then your overnight stay will be at the lodge
Day 5: Bisoke Crater Lake Hike
A trek to Bisoke volcano hike starts in the morning. You will first gather at the park office at 7:00 am to meet the park official for an early morning briefing at around 8:00 am.
Then, you'll depart for 30 minutes towards Mount Bisoke where the actual treks begin just outside Volcanoes National Park.
As you continue, you will come across a stone wall that marks the distinction of the park. You will come back to the starting point where you will meet our guide. You'll go back for lunch and visit the Diane Fossey Research Center. You'll stay overnight at lodge
Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking
You will visit the golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. You'll have to be at the main office at 7:00 a.m.
for a short briefing before your trek at around 8:00 am. You'll depart for 15 minutes towards the starting point.
As you continue, you'll meet our guide, have lunch, and then transfer to Kigali for your departure back home.
